Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 2 T. olive oil or other vegetable oil
  • 1 T. sugar or honey
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 T. vital wheat gluten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 T. flax (opt.)
  • 1/2 T. yeast
  • Toppings, for later

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a bread machine pan.
  2. Select the dough setting.
  3. Use dough when cycle is completed, or let it continue rising.
  4. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  5. Divide dough into as many pizzas as you want.
  6. Shape dough into desired sizes and cook in pans (such as in an oiled cast iron), for about 8 min.
  7. Add toppings and cook for about 8 min. more.
  8. If desired, take out of pans and cook for another minute or two.
  9. Take pizza out of oven when the bottom of the crust is golden brown.
